These Community Guidelines explain what is and is not allowed on Loorio. They are part of our broader rules, including our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Loorio is built for short-form educational video, learning, quizzes, and creator-led knowledge sharing. The goal is simple: help people learn without turning the platform into spam, harassment, misinformation, or low-quality engagement farming.

These Guidelines apply to all users, creators, videos, captions, comments, usernames, profile information, quiz-related content, messages, reports, and any other activity on Loorio.

1. Core Standard

Use Loorio to teach, learn, explain, demonstrate, ask, practice, and improve.

Do not use Loorio to harm people, mislead users, exploit minors, steal content, manipulate engagement, promote scams, or turn learning into cheating.

If content is borderline, we may reduce its distribution, add labels, remove it, restrict features, or suspend the account.

2. Age and Student Safety

Loorio is intended for users who are at least 13 years old.

Users under the age of majority in their jurisdiction should use Loorio only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.

We do not allow:

Any content involving child sexual exploitation or abuse is prohibited and may be reported to relevant authorities.

3. Educational Integrity

Loorio supports learning. It is not a cheating marketplace.

Not allowed:

Educational shortcuts are fine. Academic dishonesty is not.

4. User-Generated Videos and Content

You may upload educational, explanatory, commentary, tutorial, or study-related content if you have the right to share it.

You are responsible for the videos, captions, comments, profile details, and other content you submit.

Do not upload:

Loorio may remove or restrict content that creates legal risk, quality problems, or safety concerns.

5. AI-Generated Learning Material

Loorio may use automated systems or third-party AI providers to generate quizzes, transcripts, summaries, translations, explanations, tags, classifications, or learning prompts from videos.

Because AI can make mistakes:

Do not intentionally manipulate videos, captions, transcripts, or prompts to generate harmful, deceptive, abusive, or policy-violating AI output.

6. Accuracy and Misinformation

Educational content should be made in good faith.

Do not post content that intentionally misleads users about important facts, especially in areas such as:

For high-stakes topics, make limitations clear. Do not pretend to be a licensed professional if you are not one.

We may reduce distribution, label, remove, or restrict content that is misleading, harmful, or presented with false authority.

7. Harassment, Bullying, and Hate

Do not attack people or groups.

We do not allow:

Protected characteristics include race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, serious medical condition, age, immigration status, and veteran status.

Creators must follow these Guidelines to use monetization features.

Not allowed:

Loorio may withhold, reverse, delay, or cancel gifts, balances, earnings, or payouts if we believe there is fraud, abuse, policy violation, legal risk, or platform manipulation.

Creator monetization is a privilege, not a right.

13. Impersonation and Identity

Do not pretend to be someone else.

Not allowed:

Parody, commentary, or fan accounts may be allowed if they are clearly labeled and not misleading.

14. Privacy and Personal Information

Respect privacy.

15. Comments and Interactions

When reviewing reports, Loorio may consider:

False, abusive, or coordinated reporting may lead to restrictions.

17. Blocking and User Controls

Users should have tools to control their experience.

Loorio may provide features such as:

If you violate these Guidelines, Loorio may take action, including:

We may act without prior notice when necessary to protect users, the platform, or legal compliance.

19. Appeals

If your content or account is restricted, Loorio may provide a way to appeal.

Appeals should explain:

Submitting an appeal does not guarantee restoration.

Repeated abusive appeals may be ignored or restricted.

20. Repeat Violations

Repeated violations may lead to stronger enforcement.

Some violations may result in immediate suspension or termination, even for a first offense, including:

21. Copyright and Intellectual Property

Respect intellectual property rights.

Do not upload content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other rights.

If you believe your rights were violated, contact us using our copyright process described in the Terms of Service.

Creators who repeatedly upload infringing content may lose upload access, monetization access, or their account.

22. Branded, Sponsored, or Promotional Content

If you post sponsored, affiliate, paid, or promotional content, you must make that clear.

Do not hide material relationships from users.

Loorio may limit or remove promotional content that harms trust or violates applicable rules.
